WEATHER AND SAFETY LEAVE HOURS USED

Definition: Number of hours used during the pay period in which an employee is placed on weather and safety leave. This leave may be used only if the employing agency determines that the employee or group of employees is/are prevented from safely traveling to, or safely performing work at, an approved location. There is no restriction on the number of hours an employee may be placed on weather and safety leave.
